People that are judging the results and football by what is being served up. Cook didn't come in with a free pass and nothing to play for just like Lambert didn't, they both failed to deliver badly.
The same posters that went down the name calling route because results and performances were less important than press conferences under keane or Lambert or sports science and backroom appointments under Hurst should really have learned their lesson by now
Be caustiously optimistic for the future but don't get all aggressive about green shoots and improved performances when Cook has failed to put an assured performance out despite having multiple teams available to him |  |

Cook had to finish the season with Shamberts team, hardly any of the players wanted to be here and continue on playing for the club, there's not a lot you can do to change that, hence the clear out.
He's had 2 games and a preseason with his own team, which we're still adding to, and have one of the strongest squads in what will be a competitive league this season,
People seem to think a team will gel overnight and it will all work out just fine, but it will take 3/4/5 maybe 6 games for this squad to fully gel,
I seem to remember you've always posted on the negative side of things, this season under new owners and management is a fresh slate compared to the dross we finished last season with and we've managed to clear out the last 2 and half seasons worth of dead wood and players just here to pick up a wage

Unfortunately, the Ipswich town managers job is poisoned chalice as 95% of our fans seem to think we're much better than we are and live in the past, when they should be living in the here and now and looking at the predicament we find ourselves in, currently, we're the third best team in East Anglia, in terms of League position, probably the second best in terms of financial clout, and equal with Nodge with our academy,

Sadly we are not equal with Norwich on the Academy. They have had players go through to the First Team in the Prem, and sold some for high millions. We've just let 4 of our brightest prospects go for £2 and a half to 3 million combined. |  | | |

Should specify, their facilities are on a level footing with ours, as well as scouting and ability to draw players in.
When it comes to players coming through and being sold on, Norwich have always had a policy of developing youth, we've only had it when it suits a manager, or the club, or they come through on name value (Dozzell). | | | |
