I didn’t think he was as bad as people made out, I wouldn’t have minded him back this season, in a team that’s hopefully going to flourish this season I think he would be a different animal

Why is it in the post-Evans era some people are still wedded to the desperate idiocy of bringing in on loan other clubs’ hapless players like Bennetts that offer no benefit to us? Or wheeling in has been deadbeats like Wilshere for a last pay day, come to that.

Pretty much everyone was excited when he came. That continued when we watched him for couple of games, assuming he just needed to find some consistency with his final ball. He never did though. I hope he does well in the future but he was total toilet for us. The very epitome of flattering to deceive.
