The facility for this in Birkenhead is on Balls Road I kid you not.
I was advised to get an early morning slot because the surgeon would still be attentive and careful whereas by the afternoon he would be slapdash and tired. Everything I have heard gives credence to this theory. I was second on, never felt a thing during or after and in fact the first thing I had to do on leaving the building was sprint round the corner to catch my mrs up who was heading off in the car having decided to pick me up from a completely different address. |  |

Had it done two weeks after coming back from 4 weeks on holiday in Australia a few years back. No pain, minimal (if any) discomfort afterwards, must abstain for it to be effective (advice from friend with unexpected 4th child who skipped the sperm count test). Weirdest part of the procedure was the nurse using what appeared to be masking tape to keep the chap out of the way. O, and I hadn't shaved the area well enough. One side effect - that "pressure urge" if you go five or six days without has gone. This is probably a positive, no effect on sex drive however. |  | | |
