Thought it was quite good, bit long but covered lots of bases.

Firstly I think Starmer is a good character with good principles
The way he’s been demonised by elements of the media is concerning
His point about home being new politics and whilst he was prosecuting terrorists and helping society, whilst Boris was off demonising Europe as a hack and appearing on trivia panels was well made
And I agree he is the only decent option out there to get this cancer out of government
His points on the union were good, and successes of new labour… they truly started to level up education for example
BUT, he lacks true charisma, and I think a better orator could have wiped the floor with Boris on the current debacle that is our nation
But in some ways does the world and Britain need another populist?!
Certainly it’s made we want to become more active in helping labour…
I do think a green, Lib Dem coalition to get this awful cabinet out of power would be positive |  |
