The only downside to a thumping win 23:07 - Nov 2 with 668 viewsIllinoisblue

Is thinking of the points we’ve thrown away. This squad should already be in the top six. Still haunted by the Cambridge game.

the upside to your downside is I think this team would now beat cambridge and cheltenham etc, *should* stand us in good stead going forward.

would we rather be where we are or where sunderland are (6 points ahead, but 3 losses in a row)? tricky one...

I think you have to look at it as you analytically. What is the current trend of ITFC?

For putting the ball in the back of the net all season we have be top notch. And now slowly but surely we are now looking like a team that are harder to score against and with out losing the goal threat at the other end of the pitch.

Exciting times with exciting football...Bring it on!

I get what you say but we can’t change what’s gone. Now (a result to really enjoy) and the rest of the season is what matters and we are improving.

Before the Doncaster game at the end of Sept, bar the Blackpool game how many times in the ten years have we smashed up other teams like Wycombe, Portsmouth and Donny? Rarely. You’ve virtually got to go back to Jim’s series of home wins in about 2006 for that. Love it.
