No, I´m not a happy clapper. The result and performance against Rotherham was very disappointing and if we don´t improve and climb up the table Cook will eventually be in trouble.
Yes, there is a "but" coming.
BUT! Cook hasn´t even had a year as a manager yet. We have got 19 new players in, a complete rebuild from top to bottom. While we should be doing better, it´s not the disaster that some fans are making it out to be. Some fans are so impatient and short sighted it´s silly. We have owners that are willing to invest and are here to make us successful. This line from Mike O Neil is very important: "We are here to help the club climb the football pyramid. Promotion to the Championship as soon as possible is the immediate aim. It’s possible this season but if it takes another year or so, so be it."

Indeed but it's too late for such sentiment. You know how it works, we all have to take a position on Cook either way so that we can be singled out for 'blame' when it all goes wrong and the fan base can be divided up into factions to enable it all. Let's face it the vast majority of managers end up getting the sack in the end so it's all a bit inevitable, i'd just like to see what happens in more than 19 games. Rotherham was unacceptable and we need to see a reaction fast rather than a sacking.
