 | Forum Thread | This new super league at 10:11 19 Apr 2021
I haven´t followed the discussion about this league very closely. Can someone explain to me how it would work? The top teams in the Premier League wouldn´t play in the Premier League? What makes me angry is all this talk about the Big Six..So some teams would be invited to this Super League based on their names rather than their results? If that is the case then it is sickening. Leicester are currently 3rd, West Ham 4th. At this moment a club like Arsenal (in my opinion) are not bigger than them. I am sick and tired of the unfair playing ground for football in general, and without knowing too much this super league is another bad step. |

Knudsen scored a cracker for malmo, deciding goal. |

Of the current crop of players? Maybe some players have felt a lack of ambition within the club, and will find a new spark now? Or the opposite? "Ok, that will be me out the door then for sure, why should I give a toss?" I really hope that the players sees it as a huge opportunity and give absolutely everything they have in these final games of the season. |
 | Forum Thread | Yesterday..blaming Evans and investment at 08:09 17 Mar 2021
Sure, Evans have lacked a decent football strategy from day 1. He has made wrong choices regarding managers (for me not it´s not so much about Lambert, more about Keane, Jewell and Hurst). Evans has backed some managers with lots of money and others with almost none at all (McCarthy). Maybe he has given his managers a bit too much freedom (Hurst), and now we are left with the leftovers. But to say he hasn´t invested and that that is the main reason we lost yesterday is very strange. Some fans make it out that Evans have sold at every oppurtunity etc. Not true. How much has Fleetwood invested? There are so many teams doing better than us that is spending much less than Marcus Evans. What we do need is a good manager/coach and I do hope and think we have one in Cook. We also need, both as a club and as a footballing team, to have a clear strategy going forward and improve scouting etc. There are good players out there, but we seem to go for loanies and freebies nowadays. Players need to step up. Even squads that arent really that good can come a long way with attitude and desire (see Luton in the Championship), I saw nothing of that yesterday. |

I have never been rich, nor had a business. I know transfer fees are often paid in chunks, but how does it work with businesses? IF Ipswich Town was sold for an example, would Marcus Evans the next day or so be able to log onto his bank/business account and the whole sum of the sale be floating around there? |

We could have been 3-0 up. I´m afraid it will come back to haunt us, as usual. Still, we have been as good as I have seen us under Lambert. |
