Legend Butcher Set for Town Role
at 10:21:04

I dunno. I am sure he has a lot of knowledge, but listening every other week at his commentary on Radio Suffolk he sometimes seem to think everything works like it did in the 70s and 80s. Is he "up to date"? Anyway, it´s good that the club is trying new stuff and involving our proud history in our way forward.

Dobra and Morris in U23s at Colchester
at 13:30:35

A bit unfair, grow_our_own..Dozzell has been given chances but rarely taken them in my opinion. Bishop has been injured (and is injured again?). Maybe Dobra deserves a chance (have seen too little of him to have an opinion), but you can´t say that Lambert doesn´t give young players a chance.

Lambert: Tractor Girls Have Been Brilliant

Surprised not to find the usual negative comments about Lambert, Evans, regardless of a positive news story being reported.
Anyhow, thrilled for the Tractor Girls!

Downes: Emyr’s an Absolute Tank!
at 10:06:59

In the beginning of the season I was starting to question if Huws was ever going to get back to form, slow, sloppy, etc. Almost looked like Jonathan Douglas in disguise..However these last five games or so he has really picked up and showed his class, and I have a feeling he will improve even more.

Blades Linked With £3m Woolfenden Move
at 11:25:58

Are some "fans" for real? We can´t do anything about other clubs bidding on our players! Hardly Evans or Lamberts fault. Yes, if Woolfenden leaves for 3M that is much too low. However we are Ipswich Town, if we were offered silly money and the players would want to leave, there is little we can do. We have ALWAYS been a selling club, and so are most clubs if they are not Man City, Liverpool, etc. With all this said I really hope that Woolfenden and Downes stays for a few years, best players from our academy in many years and two players I hope we will build around.

Sears: Delighted to Be Back and Raring to Go

About the only time I got a bit excited yesterday, when Freddie came on. Unfortunately we never played to his strengts, just lumping the ball forward with little conviction.

Lambert: Evans is a Very Good Owner But We Have Running Battles
at 08:36:44

blues1 You are right on most things, but I do think we need a player or two in, and I would say two strikers. Norwood and Jackson need competition in my opinion. They are not bad players, but sometimes they frustrate me. Yes, Sears is on his way back, but it will take a while Keane..still a bit rusty.

Lambert: Negativity is Incredible
at 13:36:19

I love Lambert and think he has worked wonders here. However, he has to understand that asking questions is in a journos job description, doesn´t mean there is negativity. I think it´s a fair question for instance that our run with draws could be a concern. Another one is that we are finding it hard at the moment to create chances despite having a lot of the ball. That being said, some supporters really are over reacting.

Lambert Buys Christmas Drink for First 125 Supporters in FanZone
at 13:19:44

Has this ever been done by former managers? I think it´s brilliant. It´s a shame that some fans surely will say it´s about goodwill. I don´t think Lambert is naive enough to think that if he don´t perform, buying drinks for supporters will count for nothing.

Didn´t get the recognition and praise he deserved from some fans (and managers). Good player that always did his best. For me his best moment was the goal vs Norwich at Carrow Road.

One question I would have liked asked is why we are so persistant with long goal kicks, we rarely win headers.

Lambert: I Said We'd Have Bumps and Bruises Along the Way
at 09:51:41

No crisis, but a little worrying that some things are resurfacing from last season, inability to create chances (we are lacking a striker or two in my opinion) and letting in soft goals. I love Lambert and what he has contributed to the club, but I feel that sometimes he gets the system and choice of personnel wrong. Yesterday was an okayish lineup and formation (needed more width though), but Sunday was a prime example of a line up where I think most supporters felt it was the wrong one from the start. Not sure about the rotation policy, like Mick Mills said last night, it can be hard to get partnerships and understandings all over the pitch if there is constant chopping and changing. Another thing, that has been evident all season, when it comes to winning headers we are often second best, so to get ANYTHING out of those situations we need to win second balls.
Let´s get back on track on Saturday! COYB!

Keane: We Want to Go All the Way
at 14:07:19

Our performance yesterday illustrates a change in attitude throughout our club. A couple of years ago you never got the feeling that there was much hunger from our fringe players. Hopefully this attitude will continue in to the FA Cup, it would be nice to knock at least one or two teams out this time around.

Chambers: I Haven’t Enjoyed My Football This Much For a While
at 09:23:47

Except the mistake that lead to Sunderlands 1-1 in the first game, I think Chambo has been brilliant this season. Good interview, I can only argue with one thing he says "We’re winning our headers"..really? That´s the one thing I have been noticing in our last games that those massive goal kicks from Holy is usually won by the other team. Not a major problem, we win the ball back good enough, but if we can win a few more headers we would be even further in charge of the games.

Woolfenden Determined to Keep Place
at 10:15:07

What a player! Yes, he makes the odd mistake (and Lambert is on his throat when he does), but given he is only 20 he will learn. Downes and Woolfenden are the players that excites me most at the moment, just hope they continue their development. if they do they could definitely be Premier League players in a few years.
