To be fair to McGreal, his post game comments were absolutely spot on. His reference to the warm-up shouldn't be taken out of context - McGreal felt the players were geed up & ready to go & Town were decent for the first 15-20 minutes. However, as soon as we conceded, the response was pathetic & Town were dominated. |  |

Again not really aimed at him, he has/had an impossible job. But sane professional football clubs shouldn’t need to reference what happened in the warm-up. There should be an assumption and expectation that it’s good and the team are ready to go. | |

I was at the game and we were not decent for 15-20 minutes. We just weren't as bad as what happened from there on.
We hardly strung a pass together and I think it was more Charlton seeing what they were going to be hit with considering our managerial situation.
When they realised they had nothing to be worried about and that our players were miles off it they picked it up.
We were terrible from minute 1 to 90 |  |
