Man management, motivation and managing egos 18:56 - Dec 16 with 589 viewsBlacknGoldnBlue

It looks like our new coaching structure is technically sound and well qualified to improve the players but the bigger issue has to be managing some of the ego's in the team!
If they can motivate and manage some of those ego's (player's who think they should be playing at a higher level) then we could be in for an exciting time.

I suspect he/they have coped with bigger egos than our lot!

My guess/hope is that Ashton has undertaken due diligence. I don’t think McKenna will be a soft touch. The Northern Irish tend to be more than happy to meet force with force when necessary. It’s in their blood. Think Lennon, Magilton, O’Neill etc. Anyway, these habitual under-achievers at Town have not earned the right to try to undermine any manager, they are a group of bottom-feeders that need support and high quality coaching. He has certainly got his work cut out getting a tune out of some of Cook’s detritus.
