Difficult to know whether he should go to Chelsea at this stage of his career or not. Too big an opportunity to turn down? Too early? Think we have to remember that Derby scraping into the play-offs was largely down to his loanees. Mainly from Chelsea. But good luck to him if he does go there - seems a decent bloke.
...but well done Marcus Evans backing the manager in the bid to get promotion at the first attempt. Norwood will not have come cheap, especially with other Clubs interested, and nor would Alan Judge. Evans gets a lot of criticism, but credit where it is due. He's lowered prices and backed the manager despite the financial uncertainties of relegation. COYB!
Am I the only one who thinks the BBC and other media are trying just a bit too hard to drum up interest, pretending it is something which it isn't? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the women's game is starting to take off - but let's not force the issue. Let it evolve naturally. A little helping hand in raising the profile isn't a bad thing per se, but some of the hyperbole surrounding it is a bit silly really.
Was at a 'do' last week where I overheard two Liverpool 'fans' talk about the CL Final. In hushed tones they confided in eachother that neither had seen them play live nor been to Anfield. I'm sure both are basking in the glory of last night's victory now, but I just don't get it. Surely they never experience the raw emotion that live football brings - the highs and the lows. Personally, I wouldn't want to swap places with them. Anyone else on here feel the same?
Invalid carriages. When did they get phased out? Were they replaced by mobility scooters, or was there an interim stage in the evolution. I remember when they used to park at the front of Churchmans near the tunnel. Always light blue. Why were they always light blue? So many questions...
We are 30 (THIRTY) points off 15th place. When put like that it really does suggest we are a bit sh1t! On the plus side, there are some rubbish teams in League One and I don't think we'll struggle down there.
