Our goal yesterday

You'd be screwing as a Stoke fan. At least 5 players around Keane and nobody seemed to jump. Criminal really - not that I am complaining.

Getting all our age groups playing the same way

I assume that doesn't include formation, because if it does we have just changed from using width to a diamond. Is it more about passing from the back etc?

I feared we might be outclassed today
at 16:33 10 Feb 2019

We weren't. We grew into the game after an awful start, and certainly didn't look any worse than the top of the table team - the quality of the finishing being the only real difference. We didn't resort to play acting, trying to get players sent off, and didn't get bullied on the pitch or in the dugout. And our fans were superb - loud and proud. Their fans were pretty quiet for large parts of the game. Even the commentators commented on it at one point. So we may have lost the game - but we were not outclassed in any way. And I still believe that if we can play like that for the rest of the season we will be in with a chance.

Thought the ref had a decent game tbf.

Not often you can say that these days - and not an easy game to control. Perhaps should have done something about their player who was obviously shot by a sniper though

Things that make you realise how bad things are
at 16:54 4 Feb 2019

I am a teacher. I can honestly say that today is the first time in my lengthy career (I teach in the Midlands) that I have had kids take the piss out of ITFC. And I have no comeback. Sad times.

Who else feels a bit guilty about singing THAT chant at Villa a few seasons ago?

I guess the only consolation is that PL will have seen it as passion from the stands, and will probably understand it better than most managers. Sorry Paul.

Just realised I never actually saw him play - missed the games he featured in. I'll have to take your word for it that he was the answer to all our woes. Or maybe trust PL.

Time to ditch party politics - the solution
at 11:52 16 Jan 2019

We should have a combined General Election/Referendum run on the lines of 2 new parties. Brexit and Remain. Whoever wins gets to work on the best way forward. Politicians can nail their colours to the mast of the new party that reflects their European views best. Party Politics has died in a lot of our eyes anyway. This is the single most important political issue of a generation, and we need to get it right - led by people who have conviction in their views. At the end of their term of Office, they can all go back to their mates in their political parties as if nothing ever happened. Simples.

48% knew what they were voting for and voted for it. 52% voted for different things. So actually, their vote was in effect split. And even now they can't agree. Will of the people? Remain.
