Quite a few of the teams around and above us are playing each other this weekend. Portsmth v MK Dons, Sheff W v Plymouth, Wycombe v Oxford are probably the ones of most interest to us. All 3 clubs currently on 43 points and occupying 2 of the playoff places are away from home. Would be such a boost if we could get a win and see the gap to 6th place down to 5 pts by the end of the weekend. |  | | |  |

The ideal outcome, in my opinion, would be for all three of those games to be draws...and for us to win of course. We gain a couple of points on each of our competitors and none of them head upwards into safer ground so that they remain desperate to get results through the rest of January, and this month in which nothing is settled looks to have thrown up a run of tough fixtures for most teams - including us. It will be a real test of McKenna's mettle, and his teams, to get to the 31st and be in touch of the play-offs. |  |
