Is there an updated version of:
THE MEN WHO MADE THE TOWN: THE OFFICIAL HISTORY OF IPSWICH TOWN F C SINCE 1878?
It is a great book for detail and stats, invaluable for me to recover info I had long forgot about for the above thread but was published in 1986.

Sure there was one (possibly two) supplements in the following year(s). I presume the plan was to do one after each subsequent season but they didn't happen.

I agree. It’s a great source. I looked at it for the first time in years thanks to this thread.
As a format, I really liked the late Ken Rice’s 1973 book Ipswich an Illustrated History. You got more of a sense of the story with it. I still have my copy somewhere and I’d love to see another version covering the subsequent decades in that style. |  | | |

The other thread got my copy off the bookshelf for the first time in many years. I expect that because there is now such a wealth of info on the internet then perhaps no one has bothered to get book updated. | |
