It's harmless fun.
I was surprised that the unmasked singer today went. Possibly the best singer on there.
My guesses:
As soon as Donuts spoke the first time I said "That's Michael Owen". The "I was savoury once before" clue in week one is a reference to a short-lived Walkers promotion when they had Salt and Linekers and Cheese and Owen packets printed.
And Mushroom is definitely Lisa Stansfield. There were clues that linked to "All around the World" in early weeks.
Npt so sure on anyone else. But as today proved, I could have got them totally wrong. |  | | |

On Dougnuts very first promo, he made a very clever horse racing reference and it was made obvious that he was a footballer.
So the two options for a horse racing-footballer combined celebrity was either Mick Channon (and he’d never go on the programme) and Michael Owen. 2 minutes later when he sung, I knew I was right. |  |

Mushroom: I'm going to stick with Lisa Stansfield, who I have said from the beginning.
My wife identified Aled Jones a couple of weeks before he was unmasked as Traffic Cone. Once she said it I could hear his speech rhythms in the next clue section. That's the easiest way to identify people, I think, in spite of the vocoder effects, and made Michael Owen really easy. You have to know their speech rhythm, though. | | | |
