Coaching on 16:46 - Feb 15 with 491 views | BigCommon | Greater economy of energy, with short passing game, through out most of the team, Means we are looking fitter for the full 90 mins..... Players taking turns to drive forward, sharing the work load.. Keeping possession allows us to dictate tempo, and players to have a breather.... Cooks system asked a lot of our wide men, they looked knackered at around 70 mins. No coincidence that we let some results slip away under Cook when you are as strong as your weakest link.. Also resulted in Burns injury..... We would benefit from some better decision making in the final 3rd. Which, I'm sure they will be working on... The 2 biggest fires to put out, imo, were goals conceded and game management, in holding onto a lead (or point).. We've clearly addressed these areas, to a large degree.... Next fire to put out, for me, would be to create a bit more going forward.. We may need different personnel to achieve this?? Although, the current crop have a chance to prove themselves until the Summer.... But overall, in a short space of time, KM and his coaching team, have done an awful lot.. And credit, must also go to the players, for taking everything on board and working hard.... I'm very excited about what lies ahead...

Coaching on 17:28 - Feb 15 with 411 views | BlueandTruesince82 | It's seem that way doesn't it. Although I did see posts in here from those ITK that suggested the feeling was Cook and team put on good sessions, that the players enjoyed and that they were a huge improvement on Lamberts efforts. Kenny seems to have got buy in from all of the players though and as others have said has introduced a tactical flexibility not only within games but within phases of games. I still feel sacking Cook so soon was harsh, I believe mangarers deserve time unless they are pulling a Hurst but one can't deny the impact that Kmac has had and it has to be said that on the face of what we have seen so far, harsh or not making the change was tbe right decision. Still think we struggle against some of the better teams in the league and sometimes have unfathomable off days but it really feels like we're headed in the right direction. Long may it continue
