…. was a nightmare.
Thousands still outside with 20 minutes until kick-off, absolutely no organisation outside from MK, anyone would have though they weren’t expecting over seven thousand people who aren’t familiar with the stadium to all want to get in through the three entrances they had open.
Luckily, Town fans queued patiently - although it was a lottery as to which queue you joined due to the lack of organisation.
I can imagine imagine that with less placid and docile away fans, it would could have turned nasty.
Thankfully they eventually realised that allowing people to enter each gate from the left and right (rather than just one) would help the situation. [Post edited 12 Feb 2022 20:16]

Got to the ground about 2.20… saw the queues going all over the place, cracked open a tinny, wife tutted at me, joined a queue (upper tier) that took approx 5mins to get through, kids rainbow bag full of sweets and drinks didn’t get searched, wifes tiny handbag did…
Looked utter sht for lower tier, and fair play to the fans for queuing in a decent manner. |

I queued for lower tier for probably 30 mins, for gate three from around the other side of the ground. Once I got within sight of the gate, there seemed to be three different queues and one guy just shouting "if you want gate 3, queue against the wall over there" so I just hopped through. Mental how we queued for so long and then it was like they were saying, "don't worry about the queue any more"
I don't understand how you can build a stadium like that and forget to put any doors on it!! EIGHT gates for the whole ground. |  | | |

Was decent ta mate, kids enjoyed first away experience (youngest couldn’t believe she could shout for 90mins and not be told off for being too loud! Told her football is her safe space 😂)

Ha, superb :), sounds like it's in her blood then, had a few kids in front of me in upper and you could tell they weren't really interested, a goal might have helped though... | | | |
