We failed to get the three points due to Thompson’s error, and his lack of forward drive, Bonnes terrible form (he is shot!), Norwood lack of drive, and critically despite Burns goal his slight lack of confidence and ambition
We have to give Morecombe some credit they defended in incredible numbers, and didn’t resort to time wasting at the end.
Bakinson was OK, but is error strewn. He and Morsy need to break the lines to pull defenders off the strikers |  |

Quite honestly, our finishing has cost us points in the last 2 games... That's all... Everything else has been pretty solid... Our defence had been excellent, and our midfield have helped serve up enough chances to win 3 or 4 games, over the last 2 matches..... We all know there's the odd error in every player, in every team, at L1 level... But, if you don't put your chances away, you won't win games... We've had those chances, and then some. Imo.... Fail to put those chances in and any slight error ,at the other end of the pitch, becomes all the more highlighted... Not going to dig out individuals. by name. But it's getting all the more difficult to defend some players. Like I say, we are not losing games of football, we just aren't winning enough of them, atm.....I think I'm right in saying that our defence broke a club, league record , today, for , minutes played, without conceding.? Thompson has played a big part in that.. We are doing everything right , at one end of the pitch.. |  | | |
