Is Thompson told to play more conservatively or is he just not capable of bombing on? The difference between him and Burns is night and day. He looks so one paced. If we had a similar threat down the left we’d be lethal. That’s going to be a key area for improvement in the summer.

I really can’t understand why Celina doesn’t start every game. Whatever your game plan may be, you surely need him on the pitch? He’s a cut above. It’s mad Norwood is getting minutes ahead of him at times.

I think it's down to who he's got with him on that left side, as said before, Burns has trust with Donacien behind who pretty much plays as the wingback letting Burns get forwards.

Edmundson stays central with Wolfenden, so if Thompson loses it upfield, there's no immediate cover his side in comparison to the right.
