Amongst the 101 memories of that trip two now come to mind, braking the russian squaddies ranks to get to the sports club where we taught the Torpedo fans anti scum songs and getting nicked at half time for being pizzed,being put in a unlocked cage with other Town fans which we all proceeded to leave in time for the second half.
and red square was well impressive with loads of Town flags laid out in front of the kremlin

we found a pizza place (Maccy D was rammed with Town fans wanting the loo), only took Reubles, not dollars which we'd been told to take, so got sent to a bank which we would never have found, old Kremlin type lady took our $, slung us some Ruski dosh, probably had us over, but hey ho. Had a decent meal, walked all the way round the Kremlin, Lenin was closed for cleaning, game time, stadium was a bit rough underneath, won, back to airport, liked the female military types in full make up, high heels and uniforms!...The whole plane started sneezing on way home because of those fcukin' hats!! | | | |
