Went to watch Col U/ Forest Green last night & was really impressed with Forest Green's right back. 22 years old and reminded me a lot of Cresswell in his earlier years (albeit obviously he plays on the right instead of the left). Really comfortable on the ball, nothing of any note got down his side and made good runs going forward too. 13 assists and 3 goals this season.

Sounds like Bristol City have been keeping tabs on him, interestingly he came through West Brom's academy so is quite possibly one Ashton has some background on. KMc's plans for formation/ set up next season and what he thinks of KVY are obviously unknown at this stage but should we be in the market for a right back, he looks like an excellent option.

Very interesting.
I read Championship and league 1 clubs are looking at him.
F Green should be a league 1 team - so would he see the jump a sideways one.
But with the new build project to itfc an thrilling jump?

We need left sided players - I doubt we can keep Thompson!

Not sure I’d want to. He doesn’t get forward enough ( when you consider this is what McKenna appears to want). Defensively is he any better than Clements ?

and when he does get forward, it goes sailing over the attackers heads.

13 assists this season suggests otherwise to be fair! I think we've seen in the short time McKenna has been here that good coaching goes a long way for any player.

Not sure how true the rumours of City’s interest is, but there is no doubt Championship clubs will have had a good look at him.

FWIW the match against Colchester was one of his quieter games, U’s seemed content to stop Cadden and Wilson after the opening 20 minutes at the expense of losing the middle of the pitch, albeit just meant a lot of midfield passing from FGR, which at 1-0 up away from home was fine.

He’s OOC this summer. Assume FGR will offer him a new contract and it will go to tribunal.

Ashton had left West Brom well before Kane would’ve come to his attention.

Yes he is better than Clements.
Hands down.

Poll: Apologies I'm bored. How many signings will we have by Plymouth at home.
