Might just be me. But does anyone else prefer the interviews with much older ex players rather than recently annoyed ex coaches or let go players.

This is a forum and twitter is also a place where people have a good moan etc. But there's a hell of a lot of people who are loving the direction ITFC are going in... but I feel the latest podcast is just another of someone trying purposely cause a divide in an unnecessary way.

I know new players have their own minds and sure they could probably ring someone like Norwood to get his opinion. But surely its not great for the club to have a recent let go player pretty much calling those behind the scenes 2 faced etc etc.

Anyway just a mini morning moan. Not one to overly discuss tbh but it just doesn't sit right with me.

It's upsetting people because it's contrary to a carefully built narrative by Ashton to mask the large crack which was our dismal failure last season. Dugouts, scoreboards, and PA's do not win games either, it's classic distraction tactics.

The idea that Dyer, and co have a massive agenda against Ashton when they have vastly more experience and love for this club than he has, is laughable to me. As for Norwood, he shouldn't have been signed here in hindsight but we were barrel-scraping under Evans, the fact nobody would own up to who dropped him is frankly bizarre and shows that people behind the scenes are already not willing to take responsibility for decisions is not a good sign of a well-run ship, the opposite of what people want to hear.

Accountability, however, seems important to the new owners and if Ashton really is as bad as Cook and co have made him out to be, it won't work and he will be moved on, that is clear to me.

I support Ipswich, not a CEO, if he fails this season he has to go. What's wrong with that view?

Because sometimes especially in sport those that are successful have to make hard decisions.

These specific podcasts I mention include a coach who quit just 4 games from the end of a league winning season just because he didn't agree with how a successful ceo runs things. Combined now with a striker.who feels 7.45am is middle of the night and flip flops as the correct attire to wear to training.

If anything it's now made it more clear that the club are so far better off without a dyer and a Norwood included.

Yeah, what possible agenda could two ex-employees have against an ex-employer. I mean it's never happened before has it.

Norwood isn't good enough and can't help feeling Dyer rated himself a lot higher than is probably justified right now.

I know several people that work closely with club and Ashton is universally liked by everyone at Portman Road and clearly very well liked by Mark Steed looking at their behaviour together at the Needham game, not something that would have been the case if the owners had any potential issues as of this time.

But some Bristol City fans and a couple of people not good enough to be at the club (Cook and Norwood) might have not liked a guy ruthless enough to do what is best for the club and not them so you're making an agenda out of it.

Appearing on a podcast is easy. I would sit up and listen and be far more impressed, if either of these (or both) prove the club wrong in future. I won't hold my breath.

And I like Dyer. I don't think it's fair to compare young Dyer, to the one today but I also think he now needs to mature into management (if that's what he wants). Appearing on negative podcasts doesn't show that, positive actions do.

For me, Norwood is like a Christmas panto; in your face, full of immature, crap jokes and fun for about two weeks of the year.
