Roughly translated as 'we see Sunak, or possibly Javid, as the next PM, so we are picking their side now and hanging the honey monster out to dry'.

You'd hope that people don't forget that the resigning politicians have all been complicit and happy to go along for years and have only resigned out of self interest and nothing more. At this stage they are nothing other than the kidnapper who has been part of a gang keeping you hostage that passes you water every now and then. Like it makes up for everything.
