Incorrect. There is no such thing as a Cat A ambulance; many calls that are allocated ambulance attendance by the service will be subsequently retriaged by a clinician and cancelled; many calls allocated an ambulance by 111 will be retriaged and cancelled. Telephone triage via MPDS is a life saving tool.

Yeah ok. I've only worked as a paramedic for 23 years. I presume you work in management?
I don't work in London anymore but I know enough people who do and they will all confirm what I say.
