We controlled those last 9 minutes for the majority of it.

When you see 9 added on, we all just assumed it would be heavy pressure but for the majority of that added time we kept the ball and we’re in their half.

All in all a good performance.

Said at the time that it seemed more likely 9 minutes for us to get a third than them to equalise.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Yes, a really bad ten minutes around their goal and a fairly sloppy start to the second half. After that we saw the game out fairly comfortably.

Still a work in progress as a team and our decision making in the final third needs to improve. All of that easier to do after a win.

It was fecking hot too.

The subs made a great difference. I would like to see John Jules start.

People on here who moan about Jackson (Wally especially) should have seem him today.

He need more time on the pitch.

I definitely agree.

Probably would have conceded the second 12 months ago, good to get 3 points very early.

We largely controlled that today, FGR had their 10 minutes, which will likely happen every single week - but we certainly weren’t holding on at the end, if anything we looked the team to get the next goal.

Two tough games for different reasons. Very happy with the start of the season.
