Possibly drunken ramblings. But I genuinely think if we can keep hold of KM and the owners show the same level of backing that they have since they came in we will be in the Premier League within 5 years.

Never felt more positive about my club

The most encouraging thing for me is we’re professionalising every aspect of the club, setting it up for top end of the championship or premier league. Under Mick (who did exceptionally well in those circumstances) we were a side that seemed to like being an underdog and the total was greater than the sum of its parts, but in hindsight it was never really sustainable given the level of attention, funding and ambition. The dreaded ‘infrastructure’ Lambert used to refer to, he was always right to be fair. It was dire, but we’ve come a long way in a short time, changes to the training ground, highly qualified personnel, a culture of continuous improvement on and off the pitch. You get the feeling if (and it’s a capital IF at this stage) we do go up, we’ll be pretty well equipped for the level above and have a lovely foundation off which to build for the next phase.

In the meantime though it’s great to be enjoying the here and now and looking forward to games. We’re a really good side, been a while since we can say that. Results are all that matters ultimately but the manner of them is what’s encouraging. Even Bolton where we looked to get better as the game went on. FGR where 2-1 flattered them. Yesterday was very comprehensive. Very encouraging stuff.

Still have work to do on the PA mix though...could hardly hear Foz and the music was too loud...although I did enjoy the choice.
Need to work on the video screen...most of it was good but team listing was too small. Couldnt read it from the back of the SBRU.
But if that is all to worry about then you know things are well and truly on the up.COYB!

Can’t say they bother me personally as we’ve never had a big screen in my 30 years visiting PR, so having an average one is fine, I rarely look at it. And I tend to get to my seat at about 2:55 so not too bothered about the PA system anyway. Appreciate they’re more important to others though and no doubt the club is acting on the feedback.
