Something I've noticed over the last year or so 21:42 - Sep 20 with 516 views

Players not retreating the 10 yards at free kicks in the defensive half. Sometimes there is a position player within 4 or 5 yards, and the officials never seem to do anything about it.

Surely the rules haven't changed have they? A player that close really limits the direction in which the kick can be taken.

Yellow card for any oppo player within 10 yards 3 seconds after blowing the whistle.

Unsportsmanlike behaviour.

Add to that, advancing umpteen yards up the line for a throw in, keepers going beyond the box when they release the ball for a kick, players diving and not being penalized, attacking players being wrestled at corner kicks etc etc. League One refereeing can be pretty dodgy but this stuff happens all the time in the Premier League too. In my opinion.

Goalkeepers holding the ball for a maximum 5 seconds rule has been abandoned as well.
