The more I think about it and try to work it out, the more I tie myself up and confuse myself, to the point where I now feel like I genuinely 'forgot'.
Which is just what he wants you to think.

What I almost like the most is that a couple of his 'tricks' completely failed and didn't work how he wanted, but he just laughs it off and blows your mind again five minutes later. | |

I'm not from Norfolk.
And no.....kept thinking about it on the drive home. The only thing I came up with it was done in the interval....but can't see how it could have been. | | | |

This is also what I think. The curtains came down before the interval so we don't see what is happening.
He'd screened to find the very suggestible 1 person in 1500 who he could use, and this person was already on stage before the interval (wasn't it the person in the chair as the curtains came down?).
The other half of the stage with the second participant was filmed with a second camera, then it was edited together, in the 10-15 minutes before the 'big reveal' was done.
