What’s happened to Liverpool? 18:18 - Oct 9 with 3118 views | Chrisd | They really look a shadow of their former selves. Defensively, they look all over the place. Every time Arsenal attack, Liverpool look vulnerable. Can’t really believe the drop off from them this season and the lack of intensity, quite staggering. [Post edited 9 Oct 2022 18:19]

What’s happened to Liverpool? on 08:14 - Oct 10 with 261 views | RobTheMonk | - A midfield that's old and injured with a lack of dynamism. A panic loan of Arthur, who has had lots of injury problems in the past, and low and behold, he's injured. - Mane leaving. - Salah not getting any younger. - Trent and Robertson not hitting the heights that they once did. I think Trent is being targeted more these days as he tends to switch off from time to time at the back.

Trent has always switched off when defending, but his brilliance going forward has previously outweighed those switch offs. Problem this season is Liverpool attacking as a unit isn't delivering and Trent's switch offs now look worse. Also Van Dijk isn't the same player he was before that long term injury. But ultimately Klopp cocked up over letting Mane leave and replacing him with an inferior player. Klopp's days must be in danger to go from a chance of winning 4 tropies to admitting your league winning chances are over after only 8 games is one hell of a fall.
