JRM suggests interest rate differentials are to blame for the economic crisis and not the mini-budget. When asked what the Gov will do, he states that it's a monetary policy issue and lies with the BoE.

To me, this has all the hallmarks of the Gov wanting to bring back the BoE into their control and not have it sitting independently.
