Missed an open goal AND missed a penalty. Are the Sky assessors blind?!

Poll: Assume we have the money for one more big signing. Where do you spend it?

Stop not supporting Jackson.

The OP is a dig at Jackson mate.. Otherwise they would have stated who they thought was MOM instead of KJ.. But they didn't. They just mentioned a couple of negatives aimed at KJ.
I'm just showing him some love. Pointing out a few positives about him and his contribution to our squad.
You call it overcompensating. I call it supporting.

I did actually post lower down that I'd have given it to one of the defenders.

However the way I look at it is if Burns wasn't there or had missed the rebound off the post and the game had finished 0-0, we would be absolutely crucifying Jackson for costing us the game by missing that chance AND a penalty.

I'm not having a dig at Jackson. I thought he worked very hard. All I'm saying is that he didn't deserve MOTM for me which was the whole point of the post.

I know you love him but no way was he MOTM. The open goal and penalty miss didn’t define his performance, but they shouldn’t be dismissed. He was good tonight but no way was he better than Fridge, Woolf or Davis. Burns and Morsy were also excellent.

Yet he was literally MOTM.

We wouldn't have scored without him and then you would have been complaining about the draw.

McKenna was very glowing about his performance.

My main point is more people tend to concentrate on what Jackson doesn't do rather that what he does.

Regarding your second paragraph, that didn't happen, so it's not really worth worrying about.

Man of the match awards is a bit of a funny tradition in many ways as it’s a team game and often players can contribute good and important stuff while also doing things badly, as is the case last night and often with KJ.

Poll: Was it a punch?
