Just got in and checked the beeb for the score 17:09 - Nov 12 with 927 viewsSwansea_Blue

74% possession, 29 shots, 15 corners.

I bet we scored a hatful today - 8 or 9 was it?

I just know Freddie was up top and played the whole match. You don’t need to know the team to know that (although presumably he wasn’t the only one misfiring?).

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

why pick out Ladapo. What's wrong with our fans?

It's Freddie's fault we didn't win today is it? Leading scorer, one of the few players with some form currently and you single him out with a sly dig. I don't get it

Poll: Is it now time to sack Paul Cook?

He frustrates me, that’s why. I’d love him to do well and he’s on course for low- to mid-teens, which is reasonable-ish. Yet the amount of times we flash balls across the box into areas he should be or he misses other good opportunities drives me up the wall; I’d like to see more from him. It’s not like he’s isolated.

Maybe I’m being unfair and he’s not being asked to play that role or isn’t the type of player to play it (he can hold the ball up well and bring others into play). Just seems a bit of a waste if he’s not suited to that finishing role and maybe we need one of the number 10s to get beyond him and attack that space in the box for crosses and the like.

Ultimately, the blame needs to be laid at the recruitment rather than Ladopo. I don't for a second believe that he was supposed to be the number 1 striker this season.

We chased Hirst all summer, didn't get him for whatever reason, had no backup or simply left it too later and then panic signed Ahadme on the back of one good game against us at the start of the season. I don't for a second believe he was on any lists at the start of the summer. Ultimately, that decision may well cost us promotion.

Freddie was one of our best players today, he won or held up countless balls under pressure form a packed Cheltenham defence, and laid off a lot of good balls. If you want to lay blame anywhere, those in the "hole" Chaplin, Harness, and also Wes were just not at the races. It was tough to get any space, but they were the ones who should be getting on the end of the balls Freddie lays off.

Poll: would you rather

I didn’t see today, but yeah that’s pretty much what I said. He’s good at bringing others into play, but we need those others and especially the number 10s to step up. PS - I’d just like to see a bit more from our striker in front of goal.

My biggest gripe with Ladapo is he has a first touch like a trampoline. Once he gets the ball under control, he can hold it up and lay it off, but that's like 30% of the time
