FIFA is an embarrassment to every supporter of football. How does it continue with so little confidence? Why have nations and nation football groups Eg UEFA not moved away from FIFA?

Yep...

Gianni Infantino - and FIFA and the World Cup by homer_123 19 Nov 2022 18:56
In his monlouge today, he said:

"Of course I am not Qatari, Arab, African, gay, disabled or a migrant worker. But I feel like them because I know what it means to be discriminated and bullied as a foreigner in a foreign country.

"As a child I was bullied because I had red hair and freckles. I was bullied for that."

Is there not just a subtle difference between being bullied and losing your life? To compare his personal experience of being bullied to a migrant worker losing their life or people being killed because they are gay is just a little bit too much, no?

This is a person under extreme pressure who is becoming slightly irrational with the attack is the best form of defence mentality. But his anology is coming across as crass and the 3000 years of apologies as straight from the host's PR section.
