Ladaopo had a good game at the weekend good hold up play - like him a lot, I know he misses chances - but yep - like his presence in the team...

But felt he was not passing at times when near the goal and hanging onto the ball too long and trying to score for himself I do wonder if the new signings had something to do with this.

He just needs to get his head up sometimes. He's focused on scoring which is fine, but he needs a little bit more awareness of runners around him.

That was definitely his biggest weakness of that game. At least two times where a simple pass would have made a one-on-one chance but he went for a tight angled shot.

It's a major flaw. You want your strikers to be greedy (to an extent) but you also want them to have self-awareness. In our system, the number 9 needs to accept when a number 10 is in a better position for a goal attempt; particularly with no formal strike partner.
