My dad and me had a massive pillar in front of us when we last went (3-0 game)
I remember Gazza as a sub warming up in front of us, and taking plenty of abuse in good humour!

I was at the FA Cup game in 1999 when we were robbed of a draw when Wilnis's late "equaliser" was inexplicably ruled out for some non-existent foul in the build up. For reasons I won't bore you with, I was sitting with the home fans & while I accept most fans are one-eyed & biased, I thought the Everton fans were the most miserable bunch I have ever experienced. I have a close friend from Liverpool & I generally have found Scousers friendly.

Materazzi was, correctly, sent off for two yellow cards in that game and the home fans really didn't like that. A totally bizarre decision to disallow the Wilnis 'goal', it was a hell of a finish too.

Perfect cup draw for me that one, just down the road from where I was at uni so back home by six.

It’s been on my scratch list for years and would be great to see it before it goes in a few years.

Never been to Goodison and really want to. Will have to go on a tour I think. I guess next season will be the last for one of England's great traditional grounds.

That fixture is certain to be happening next season.

Don't be silly. Everton aren't going to be in League One next season...

Red half have mixed feelings. They enjoyed the guaranteed 6 points.

The away end is great. Brilliant drink to be had in Liverpool beforehand too - really hope it happens. Lucky enough to have been both times we played them in the Premier League under Burley - it's such a shame that a generation of our fans have never seen us play at places like that.

Last time I went, the away end was lower than pitch level, so if you were at the front which we were your head was only about three foot above the turf. Great for the near box, but not so good at seeing what was going on anywhere near the other area. That was early 90's mind, so maybe things have changed.

Indeed, the sending off riled the home crowd & I & my mate kept very quiet in the home stand. I'm sure some of the Scousers realised we were Town fans but as we kept quiet, we didn;t get any hassle. The Evertonians were desperate for the referee to even it up by getting a Town player sent off, probably Thetis, but he stayed firm until bizarrely diasllowing our late equaliser. I think the crowd had aslo been giving Wilnis stick for not putting the ball out when an Everton player was laying down "injured".
