McKenna obviously knows what he's doing but it really feels like a missed opportunity. Barnsley have put a lot into this game and we would have come in fresh onto a really nice zippy playing surface. We could have played really high tempo with out possession game and taking their legs away 2nd half.

Eh? Who is that addressed to?
No idea where arrogance comes in here.
I think there are good arguments both sides. Totally agree with someone posting above that people would moan if we lost Saturday that we should have postponed. I assure you I won't be jumping up and down saying I told you so if we lost the re-arranged fixture. Tough decision I think. I just felt there were advantages to playing after that effort they put in mid-week. I also think the two week gap to Derby is sub-optimal. We need to be very careful not to have a loose first 20 in that game.
Note: I back us to win either way. Fingers crossed. Going to be a hell of an ask to get into top two. So little margin for dropping points. The top 4 have been immense.

It is arrogance to think we'd be better off to just stroll into Barnsley without 2 of our key players and be fine! That's obvious.

You'll have to point me to the part where I suggest we just 'stroll into Barnsley'. It think you apportioning that silly view on my comment show more arrogance then anything i said.
I completely take on board the pros and cons of both scenarios. My thinking was only:
1. Barnsley would be fatigued (only needed to look at Wed today) 2. 2 weeks break to momentum. We just need to be careful not to start slow against Derby. 3. We have have a really strong squad I trust. We have no idea who will be available when we play them after lots of fixtures in short time frame. 4. We lose advantage of one less game to competitors condensed into April.
All that said. I will trust McKenna judgement and back us to beat anyone. McKenna is absolutely top class manager in making.
