Feel the tension 07:55 - Apr 7 with 581 viewsbluelagos

Last week, one up at Derby and defending, could proper feel the tension. They scored what looked like a fair goal, full on celebration, got to say I felt physically sick for like 10 mins.

Not felt tension like that since the playoff games during Burley's reign. I missed the West Ham / Naaridge games a few years later (being in Lagos) so literally 20 years since I felt that way at a match.

Going to be like that for the next month aint it. Enjoy the moment guys, doesn't happen all that often :-)

PMT for blokes.

At 2-0 up with 7 minutes of time added, I was still very nervous that we were going to concede two goals (despite the 7 previous clean sheets).

I guess that afternoon at Charlton is going to take some getting over.

Yeah, was at Charlton, last week I put the 7 minutes onto a timer to watch it come down.

Reckon it was only with 90 seconds left I relaxed. Had Derby scored in the first minute of injury time I reckon they'd have been all over us...

C'mon Towen, 3 up asap please. My heart needs it!

I didn't actually feel as much tension as I was earlier in the season when we were defending leads. Sure, it's become more important now that we squeeze every point from every game if we can, but somehow I'm not so worried.

We are going to actually conceded a goal sometime before the end of the season (I assume!), but there's just so much calmness and confidence that I think when it happens the lads will just press on and get back in front again. I almost look forward to watching us handle the challenge of a mini-setback. That's how much faith I have in this team and the management.
