It was LOUD!
There was a moment that the news first went around that we had gone top of the league that was the loudest I ever recall PR being, goals aside. It was this magical surge around the ground, gave me goosebumps.
Also, there was a point towards the end of the match where we're 4-0 up, and the team are still playing good football, where I was just shocked at how loud we got. I'm so used to it just being the SBR singing that it really took me surprise. Love it!! |  | | |  |

Was it actually proper loud, like it used to be pre all seating (if you remember those times)? Serious question because I agree it was a different level yesterday. |
No, not even close to the late 90s play off games and never will be given the loss of the low roof of the old North.
What annoys me is how few in the side stands are genuinely up for it. Few games back I noticed the back 2 rows standing up and decided to do the same from a seat 3 rows back.
Most people were fine but a bloke 10 seats further down got proper angry, eyes bulging with incandescent rage that I was standing/singing.
So I sit down and as ever the atmosphere is reduced.
