Yep, that’s the ‘worst case’ ie Wednesday winning 4 from 4 and / or Barnsley 5 from 5.
Whatever happens we’ll finish with the best GD, there’s no way that will swing against us, so I make your sums right.
It’s possible (although would rely on SW and Barnsley losing Tuesday night) that it becomes 5 points needed from the final 4 games if we beat Port Vale. Imagine the scenes. |  |

11 points needed now to get us to 96, but it’s not going to take 11 unless Wendies win 4/4 or Barnsley 5/5. Form and fixtures say otherwise.
I think that 2 wins and a draw will probably be sufficient - provided we don’t lose to Barnsley.
Wendies and Barnsley have tough away fixtures on Tue, good chance the ask will be reduced to 94 after those games…. 3 more wins!!! And if we beat Port Vale “2 more wins!!!”

I really hope you're right.
Weds, who knows? Look like they could drop points at any moment but then they could go and win all their remaining games. Form ATM says it's unlikely though.
Barnsley equally have it in them, but look like they might be running out of puff a little despite today's win, FGR are awful ATM, plus we have to play them of course a draw there robs them of another 2.
We look as good as we have in years but I'm an Ipswich fan so I just can't bring myself to dream to much.
Anything can happen, maybe a twist in it yet. | |
