It's by Watford supporting Guardian journalist Simon Burnton and I guess reflects quite a few people's thoughts about Ipswich in the last years of the Evans era.
Maybe Watford need to drop a bit lower like we did before they start the long climb back towards the top. It certainly feels good when you get the sense your club is back travelling in the right direction.

I’ve supported Town for more years than I care to remember but had Evans not sold up when he did I would no longer be a season ticket holder. He was destroying the club on and off the pitch and I had got to the point where I wasn’t prepared to pay for the privilege of watching him do it anymore!

The comment about feeling nothing struck a cord with me and I imagine quite a few others. Under Evans, eventually I was not angry, I just felt nothing, complete apathy.
