Interesting article on the decision to relinquish a season ticket 10:44 - Apr 24 with 1358 viewssoupytwist

It's by Watford supporting Guardian journalist Simon Burnton and I guess reflects quite a few people's thoughts about Ipswich in the last years of the Evans era.

Maybe Watford need to drop a bit lower like we did before they start the long climb back towards the top. It certainly feels good when you get the sense your club is back travelling in the right direction.

There's some good stuff in the comments too.

Interestingly enough I've just my letter through saying that I'm down to be Watford manager first 2 weeks in October.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I can certainly relate to what he’s saying.

I’ve supported Town for more years than I care to remember but had Evans not sold up when he did I would no longer be a season ticket holder. He was destroying the club on and off the pitch and I had got to the point where I wasn’t prepared to pay for the privilege of watching him do it anymore!

The comment about feeling nothing struck a cord with me and I imagine quite a few others. Under Evans, eventually I was not angry, I just felt nothing, complete apathy.
