BBC Radio Suffolk commentary highlights from yesterday on 17:01 - Apr 27 by Rozz
They came back with a response about taking it on board, and that actually Glenn covers radio too and wasn't aware he needed to provide audio description. It hasn't improved though, I'm often watching the video feed wonder how on earth anyone knows what's going on from the audio alone.
I guess it's a small enough pool that most have just moved on from using it or not kicked up a fuss? Saturday 3pm, outside of Suffolk but not abroad, unable or unwilling to use a VPN to circumvent the rules.
Is there another route to get Radio Suffolk matchdays online that people have migrated to? I know someone on here used to stream it from their home/office/shed, as you could hear them coughing / typing in the background.
I've looked into every possibility but not found another route.
As regards VPNs, as it will be the club's own product, I suppose they could, or could be forced to, put in place software that prevents the use of a VPN. After all, the I-player doesn't work with a VPN whether in the UK or abroad.

It’s also very unfair on Glenn, they are two totally different disciplines and not compatible to be done together - the only way it works if doing one is to overlay Radio over video but even that doesn’t work very well

Glenn being hung out to dry for me
Yes, let's hope they see sense and keep Glenn for the video and Radio Suffolk for the audio.
But this is probably now all commercial confidential, so we may well not find out until the big launch.

Agreed, although I haven't seen much criticism on this since the initial switch (not to say it doesn't exist). Like I said, I suspect this is because it's not fit for purpose as an audio-only product so most people have simply stopped bothering.
I dislike the current style of delivery over video, but that's another matter. I'd much prefer RS commentary as mentioned above, but am sadly out of range.
Brenner's radio comms over video > Wheeler's video comms over video.

I sync Brenner over the video, when he's available online, because it is a much better product, but that battle has been lost, as might having RS on the audio, depending on any contracts already signed.
