Will Ashton achieve his top targets 13:11 - May 21 with 1235 viewshunty21

Obviously in league one the financial power meant there was less team able to compete but this window could be tougher with alot more teams aware of the market and able to offer what we can offer lets hope ashton can work his magic

I think we were competing with Championship clubs last year. With the fact that we’re actually in the Championship now, the stats from last season (player performance and supporters), the improvements to the infrastructure- with clearly more to come we’ll be a big draw for any player.
Add in the fact that players clearly love being here, loving what Mckenna does etc etc etc

I feel that the three seasons before this one, we were in the football wilderness, we didn’t get much of a mention in the media but this season, people are talking about us again in a very positive way and sealing promotion has got us back on the map.

Ashton is very good at what he does but McKenna is a massive draw for any potential signing as he’s a good coach who has been at Man Utd and now with us so I’m hopeful we can attract the right type of players. The key is not upset the balance and togetherness of the current squad as it only takes one bad egg as they say.

I’m really looking forward to finding out who we will bring in and who we will allow to move on.
