Top 5 ITFC emotional feels 14:15 - Jun 7 with 3320 views | Illinoisblue | 1. Crying man from the Town in 25 video. At that moment he was all of us. 2. Marcus Stewart getting choked up at the end of the Wembley 2000 video. Like a punch to the heart on first viewing, hits even harder now knowing what’s ahead for him and his family. 3. Bobby Robson at the Sports Personality of The Year awards. “Where’s Roger?” 4. Kieran McKenna, arms aloft, acknowledging the 5,000 Town fans at the end of the Barnsley game. Very much an everyone knows “we’ve fking done it” moment. 5. Brenner. For his wonderful “2-0 OH, TREMENDOUS!” roar of commentary on the Hirst goal at Barnsley. Also for his summing up after the Exeter game “the big dark cloud has been lifted from Portman Road”. And for his simple but effective “Nathan Broadhead we love you!” From the Port Vale game.

Top 5 ITFC emotional feels on 11:16 - Jun 8 with 370 views | Steve_M | The second goal at Barnsley for me, to suddenly be 2-0 up after such a good individual goal was the moment of the season. Promotion moved from probable to almost certain as long as we kept our composure at that point.* Agree on 1 from this season too, looking around at 3-0 and the realisation that, not only were we going to finish the job, but we were going to do so incredibly comfortably was immense after so much frustration. By the time it was 5-0 it was definitely party time. Everything about Wembley in 2000 was so good, the Stewart goal to put us 3-1 up was a bit like Hirst's goal at Oakwell this season in shifting everything in our favour but Reuser running through the middle to finish that off was superb. *That's where Charlton away almost becomes a positive, the sense of loss from that game as a powerful motivator.

Top 5 ITFC emotional feels on 11:41 - Jun 8 with 333 views | farkenhell | This season has had a number of emotional feels all to itself. But for this old fart, the most emotive time whilst watching Town has to be in the '78 cup semi-final. When Warky headed in the third at our end (I maintain he headed the ball with a smile on his face as big as Bournemouth) the entire Town support burst into a chorus of Que Sera Sera, which continued, over and over, for what seemed like hours on end. The painful memories of '75 and being cheated out of Wembley by that c-nt Clive Thomas seemed to be washed away (he was also the referee in '78, so to win that one despite him was also somewhat cathartic). But, my abiding memory of that great day and the most emotive moment for this awe-inspired 9-year old was during the immediate post-match celebrations and the late, great Paul Mariner (my favourite player in that team) jumping up and down, fists raised to the crowd, screaming "magic, magic" over and over. Whilst we all continued to sing Que Sera Sera. Memories.
