Yeah I agree.
I was there.
BUT. I did feel that had a lot to do with how Barton set-up. Don’t think we were expecting to go so deep. I think the bad man decided he just needed a draw to save himself from the building criticism of a bad run. And we fell short in ways to unlock them. | |

Second half of Fleetwood home was very very unlike us. Prob the worst of the season for being unable to impose on or control the game. |  |

Thought we underperformed in all of the above..
First half at home to SW was frustrating to watch, too, imo.
Not gonna moan too much though. Frustrating results happen, every season, to every team, in every division.We over performed in just as many games along the way. And mission accomplished with automatic promotion.

All the others folk have mentioned plus Col U at home, mainly because of the result and Bracknell away. The Col U game had hallmarks of Newport last season and the Bracknell performance was weak in the context of our season.
Both Sheff Wed games too. Giving away or giving two-goal leads was poor in the circumstances. | | | |

Not sure if it's that we were poor but Burton away early in the season was a really tough game and probably the only one of the season where the opposition maybe felt hard done by for not getting anything. Without Walton's early saves we could easily have lost that and Ahadme properly roughed up our defence that night. | |

For me there was only 1 game that we really seemed to struggle and it was a rather bizarre game. Fleetwood at home.
All other games even Oxford you didn't feel we'd lost control, more that we shared the game in scrappy duals.
But Fleetwood despite not being able to beat us still, utterly killed us at home. It was a bizarre one. |  |
