At the risk of sounding slightly bitter, who gets to decide that the Europa Conference League qualifies as a 'major trophy' all of a sudden. I have heard this phrase repeated ad nauseum in the media over the last 24 hours.

Don't get me wrong, good luck to West Ham. I am sure they had some great away trips along the way and its always very nice to win something, but major trophy. Really!?

I had a "friend" on Facebook who thinks they are "champions of Europe". Delusion on the highest level.

I saw a twitter post labelling our UEFA Cup win in the same category. Firstly i don't think the Europa League and UEFA cup are even comparable so this conference league definitely isn't
