he seems to be fully involved in the training sessions at Leicester. Hard for him as if he does not figure in the managers plans, he could really do with a full pre-season with the team he is going to play with this season (hopefully us). If he has this proper pre-season he could really start the season firing on all cylinders. Can't help but think if he is not in the managers plans, he should push for a permanent deal elsewhere.

Hirst has 2 years to go on his contract at Leicester and is earning £16k per week + bonuses, which is almost £10k per week more than Conor Chaplin for example and our highest earner is on £12k per week. Would we match that £16k wage? |

What were you expecting him to be doing? He's under contract, they really don't know what their side will look like in August with players being sold back to the Prem.

Same as Leif Davies at Leeds before he came here. Surely any pro would want to play as highly as they can. At the moment Leicester are a better proposition than Ipswich. He’ll be trying to impress and earn a squad number and some starts until he finds himself 4th or 5th choice. He could be 2nd choice at the moment, which probably means that we are currently 2nd choice | | | |
