Yeah maybe Edwards and/or Humphreys out the door for some games.
But I'm relaxed about the CB thing. It may be that Baggott will go out if we succeed in bringing in a target, but stays otherwise.
In addition to the two starters we have the Fridge, JD, and Baggott as cover, plus theoretically Clarke and Davis if we're really stuck, so I'm not worried. But a class CB would be an amazing addition.
The fact that Kieran didn't want to keep Keogh on, the fact that CB is the one area where he has so far recruited least, and the acquisition of Slicker from Man City lead me to believe that he is really really picky at CB and is not interested unless they can really play it out from the back. Experienced CBs in that category would not come cheap. If they are there for the taking, great, don't get me wrong. If not, Kieran can mould the youngsters like Baggott to play the way he wants. Baggott seems very promising, and I wouldn't really be concerned to see him deputising. |  | | |
