But the news that caught my eye was that bridge over the Severn near the Worcester ground has been closed because they found an unexploded WW2 device.
I wonder how many people have passed that device over the years.

Went today, my last day at Chelmsford for this year. Hope that's not the last time I see Chef play for Essex, out for a duck. Westley looked good, got his 1000 runs for the season, Critchley class again and Rossington got a nice ton. Hadn't done much with the bat red ball wise and needed a decent score. Got another 21 overs tomorrow to rack up some batting points though it's probably going to be a complete washout tomorrow.
Shame about Rymell, remember that ton he got against Yorkshire in the One Day Cup. Suppose he's got Das and Khushi ahead of him who have kicked on this year. |  |
