Bet he'd be keen now though.

Morgan Whittakar on 11:13 - Oct 30 by BondiBlue | Westy's mentioned a couple of times how brandon williams wants to overlap but can't when burns or hutchinson is in front of him. If whittaker was on our right wing, who only wanted to cut inside and shoot from miles out, it could give us another dimension. I just think he's a bit of one-trick pony. Great trick mind you. |
Obviously Westy knows what he is talking about and is more qualified than me but I'm not sure I agree with this. Donacian used to overlap Burns all the time when he was regularly starting...

Morgan Whittakar on 16:46 - Oct 29 by ArnieM | Town tried very hard I believe to sign him. But the player only wanted to return to Plymouth. Now you could say, good on for being loyal to the club you’re on loan too, or you could view it another way perhaps. If you were a player snd two clubs , Plymouth and Ipswich both wanted you which one would you go to if you wanted to improve and potential stand to progress further in the EFL, ( given the coaching and backing at both these clubs)? So is Whittaker loyal, or dare I say it, maybe lacking a little bit of ambition? Or is it he just feels more confident/ comfortable being the big fish in a little pond, as opposed joining a squad that has players with certain qualities which means he is more likely having to fight for his place? No slight is intended btw, on pcfc! |
I had an interesting chat with a Plymouth supporting colleague this morning. Obviously sore from the weekend’s result but said player called us ‘a bunch of knobbers’ by all accounts when asked why he didn’t sign for us. I find all this needle a bit strange - some friction which we are not privy too perhaps?
