All this hoo-ha about technology in the game.... 18:35 - Nov 7 with 576 viewssixtoperalta35

..let's brainstorm some out of this world tech!

Here's my (absolutely tongue in cheek) idea
(I'll have this post as proof of my idea when FIFA steal it)

Laser level type things in corner flag posts, rig them up to some super computer camera thingy like Hawkeye so when the ball completely breaks the laser line the ball is deemed out of play and the player that last kicked it off gets a little zap from the closest corner flag to show who it came off last. All linked to the scoreboard so it flashes up CORNER/GOAL KICK etc. this also will allow Lino's to concentrate on just offsides and fouls.

TBH I'm sure the ball going out of play could be called by lasers. It's effectively an extension of the goal line technology which works well. Perhaps even offsides in time.

Then leave it to the ref to give any on field decisions like fouls and sack off VAR / reviews.

Give each team 3 challenges per game and the challenge comes from fans on twitter hitting the like button. Retweets for a bonus challenge if the Bovril is too cold at half time.

Yes to all above, love it.
Tweaking the challenges idea may I add this to it...
