Strange situation for some of our players 16:27 - Nov 12 with 4415 viewsgtsb1966

knowing that IF we went up they won't be anywhere near the first team and probably sold. I wonder if any of them think about that. Same for most promoted teams I suppose.

Part and parcel of being a pro footballer.. Same for any other team's players..
New manager? New owner? Incoming players in any window? Emergence of a youth player? Long term injury? Will all threaten any player at any club.
Comes with the territory, and the wages.
What a player should be thinking, is "how can I improve enough to stay a part of this journey"...
As it stands, its in their hands. And they might not get a better opportunity to play higher up the pyramid throughout their careers.
If that can't motivate a player. to push themselves to be better. Then its hard to think of anything that can.

Can we not just enjoy this rather than constantly looking for negatives?

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Win win for them

They either become part of the prem adventure if we made it or they become wanted by teams wanting promotion next season.

a niche perspective
